Technical Information

streaMed Clinic™ requires only an Internet connection, plus Internet Explorer® and the Adobe Flash® plugin. If you already have an Internet-connected PC or Macintosh® workstation, laptop or tablet device, then no new hardware or networking is required. If you need to purchase hardware for streaMed Clinic, wired.MD® can help recommend a solution that meets your needs.

Once streaMed Clinic is implemented and access is granted, you get effortless access via the Internet to your new patient and consumer health education videos, text handouts and health websites. You automatically receive streaMed Clinic updates of all of the new and updated videos and handouts, about twice a year, real-time via the Internet.

In order to access your customized Patient Site from a personal or home computer, your patients simply need an Internet connection, Internet Explorer and the QuickTime® or RealPlayer® plugin. For patients who don't have QuickTime or RealPlayer, the Patient Site includes instructions assisting them through the simple installation process.
