wired.MD and TouchVision™ Announce Partnership Around streaMed Patient Education Library
TouchVision Corporation develops web-based software and functional point of care kiosk systems. TouchVision's VisMed Division was established to bring interactive self-service to healthcare facilities. Their solutions improve the interaction between people and healthcare systems so that patients receive more satisfactory treatment, doctors spend more time giving care, and healthcare systems reduce errors, speed payment, and improve satisfaction of patients and doctors. TouchVision and wired.MD have formed a partnership to bring the streaMed video and text content to their new and existing customer base to further improve the patient experience and the quality of care provided by these healthcare organizations.
TouchVision will integrate the wired.MD patient education solution videos into their VisMed product. This combined solution will allow for patients to directly access up-to-date, evidence based multimedia education via touch screen kiosks throughout Texas. These kiosks allow for proactive consumers to better educate themselves in their native language on conditions, procedures and treatment plan options.
