wired.MD®, Inc. Announces the Launch of the streaMed CCTV™ Product
wired.MD has launched their newest product called streaMed CCTV, a revolutionary closed-circuit television product for the hospital and medical center marketplace. The healthcare closed-circuit television market has been a key distribution channel for patient education for over two decades. Since the time that hospitals began providing education via televisions, patient education videos have been placed on those systems. The model has evolved from channel specific, to on-demand, to interactive television solutions though all the while garnering and implementing patient education videos into these various systems has remained a laborious and time intensive process.
Healthcare educators and providers have traditionally gone through a four-step implementation process around patient education into their systems including purchasing videos, encoding those videos, writing for broadcast rights, and then trying to keep their library up to date. This process can take weeks to months of time and can lead to three different payments incurred by the healthcare organization. wired.MD heard the demands of the marketplace for a better solution and has answered their demands and has launched streaMed CCTV, which will revolutionized closed-circuit patient education.
streaMed CCTV is the first product that will take that four-step process down to a single step. wired.MD has taken its 300+ patient education videos and pre-digitized them in MPEG1 and MPEG2 formats for immediate licensing to all hospital and healthcare organizations. These pre-digitized patient and consumer health education videos will be licensed with pre-approved broadcast rights for five years. These videos will also be the first ones in the market to be automatically updated for free for those who license them. These streamed CCTV videos will also allow for a 10% semi-annual exchange option allowing hospitals and medical centers to keep their libraries meeting their needs. These four revolutionary features will allow healthcare organizations to license the patient and consumer health videos they need and will remove all major hurdles; taking a process that once took months down to one that lasts days.
