Sleep Services of America™ and wired.MD Announce Partnership to Educate
Sleep Services of America's™ mission is to improve the care and quality of life for people suffering from sleep disorders. SSA has been providing sleep diagnostic services since 1983 and their services span seven states. SSA offers patients and physicians a complete one-stop-shop for diagnosing and treating sleep disorders. SSA and wired.MD have formed a partnership to bring the streaMed DVD product offering to both new and existing SSA customers throughout the United States.
Sleep Services of America has been working to pioneer this relatively new marketplace for a number of years as it has become the fast growing specialty of medicine. Sleep disorders are now being consistently addressed by healthcare providers and patients are being referred to Sleep Services of America's locations. With the sleep disorder evaluations, education was a necessary part of the overall care for patients. Therefore, wired.MD worked with SSA to bring the only comprehensive and evidence-based patient education library to the market.
