Planetree™ Healthcare and wired.MD, Inc. Announce Partnership to Market to the Planetree Affiliates.
Planetree is a non-profit membership organization working with hospitals and health centers to develop and implement patient-centered care in healing environments. Planetree's mission is to serve as a catalyst and partner in the development and implementation of models of health care.
Planetree is one of the most unique and effective affiliate organizations in healthcare today providing a platform and a network of quality of care oriented hospitals and healthcare organizations. Over the last 27 years Planetree has created a regionally specific network that is exclusive in nature to those who are in its membership. wired.MD over the last several years has garnered a number of the Planetree affiliates as customers as they viewed the streaMed™ Patient Education Solution as a key addition to their hospital or organization. Forming a partnership between Planetree and wired.MD further allows the distribution of the streaMed product to increase as Planetree now has the ability to resell streaMed to its entire affiliate base and nearly 100 leading healthcare organizations and hospitals throughout the United States.
Planetree will also be exclusively implementing several wired.MD patient education videos on the Planetree organization website as a source for patient access to quality health information videos.
