wired.MD®, Inc. and Kryptiq™ Inc. Combine Forces
Video Patient Education Software and HIPAA-Compliant Secure Email Delivers Customized and Confidential Information to Patients with Internet Access
wired.MD, Inc. and Kryptiq Corp. announced today that the two companies have formed an alliance to combine online patient education materials with secure messaging capabilities. The results of this agreement will provide physicians with an integrated educational video and secure email communication solution that provides customized and confidential medical information directly to their patients. For the first time, patients will be able to obtain prescribed streaming video and communicate securely with their physicians outside of the examining room.
The new service will allow physicians and their patients to securely exchange streaming video education content and email messages. Initial uses could include the secure delivery of lab results with corresponding streaming educational video and appropriate prescriptive treatment, all of which can be integrated into electronic medical records.

Kryptiq's solution leverages the power of electronic messaging to improve the quality and lower the cost of delivering healthcare while meeting HIPAA privacy and security regulations.
