GE Medical Systems® and wired.MD®, Inc. Announce Logician Solutions Partnership
GE Medical Systems is a leading provider of healthcare information applications that are critical in creating efficiencies within hospitals and physician practices. GE’s Logician® electronic medical record product is one of the leading EMR’s in the acute and ambulatory care markets. Logician allows for healthcare providers and their patients to maintain a completely electronic information record of a patient’s medical history, as well as allowing for interactivity with industry leading billing and scheduling software.
wired.MD recently became an official GE Medical Systems Solution Partner. This limited and exclusive group of solutions providers create, sell and deploy critical third party plug-in applications for the Logician product. wired.MD’s patient education content form will be the first of its kind multilingual, multimedia patient education video plug-in available via any electronic medical record. wired.MD’s plug-in will include well over 200 key patient education videos, some of which are available in seven languages.
This Logician-specific plug-in will further add efficiencies to patient encounters by allowing Logician customers to educate patients via computers during down time in the exam room. This proven workflow efficiency can save providers time, leverage down time in exam rooms and increase patient satisfaction. This Logician form plug-in product will be sold directly by wired.MD.
